PM Modi to inaugurate Global Innovation Summit in Pharma Industry tomorrow

New Delhi: According to a press statement from the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the First Global Innovation Summit in the Pharmaceuticals Sector through video conferencing on November 18, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, will also be present.

The Summit will focus on prospects in India's pharma business, which has tremendous growth potential. The two-day Summit will feature 12 sessions and over 40 national and international speakers who will discuss topics such as the regulatory environment, funding for innovation, industry-academic collaboration, and innovation infrastructure.

This is a unique project aimed at bringing together key Indian and international stakeholders from government, business, academia, investors, and researchers to discuss and deliberate goals for fostering a healthy innovation ecosystem in India's pharmaceuticals industry.

Leading members of the local and international pharmaceutical industries, as well as authorities, investors, and researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, John Hopkins Institute, IIM Ahmedabad, and other prestigious institutions, will attend the Sumit.
