HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India has the fastest-growing economy among the G-20 nations, in addition to various other successes, notably in the start-up environment.

Modi told graduating students at the Indian School of Business (ISB) that the country received a record level of foreign direct investment last year.

"Today, India is the G-20's fastest-growing economy. When it comes to internet users, India is in second place. In the global retail index, India is ranked second. India boasts the world's third-largest start-up ecosystem. 'There have been a number of such accomplishments," Modi stated.

Today, the world is witnessing India's business prowess, which he attributes to not only the government but also the youth and alumni of institutes like Indian School of Business. He said that the phrase of "Reform, Perform, Transform" had revolutionised the country's governance.

In response to the viral pandemic, he stated that India has delivered Covid-19 vaccine to over 100 countries.
