New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with children receiving the Prime Minister's National Children's Award (PMRBP). Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi also gave digital certificates to the winners of PMRBP 2022 using block chain technology. Tell me, the Central Government also gives an amount of Rs.1 lakh to the winners. Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani and Minister of State Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai were also present on the occasion.

Tell us that this year 29 children have been selected for PMRBP 2022. The awards are presented by the President at a function at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi said, "It is great to talk to you all. You also got to know about your experiences. You have received this award for your extraordinary achievements in many fields ranging from art, culture to heroism, education to innovation, social service and sports. Young friends, the award you have received today is very special for another reason. This is the reason why these awards are an opportunity!

PM Modi said the country is currently celebrating 75 years of its independence. You have received this award in this important period. You have received these awards after a huge competition, children from all parts of the country have come forward, your number has been out of it. This means that the number of awardees may be small, but thus the number of promising children is immense in our country. With this award, you have also got a lot of responsibility. Now the expectations of friends, family, everyone in the society have increased even more than you.
