PM is disappointed with BJP lawmakers for not using social platform

New Delhi: Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi  was decisive of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmakers who are not active on social media. PM distress over several ministers who are not using social plateform to reach out the electorate while chairing the meeting of the council of Minister.

The PM appointed Power Minister Piyush Goyal, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State Jitendra Singh to help the BJP lawmakers use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter. However, Modi has 19.7 million followers on twitter and over 3 crore likes in facebook, which set its milestone itself.

In the meet, PM Modi asked the ministers to aggressively use digital platforms and highlight govt's initiatives like LPG coverage, electrification of villages, Mudra scheme and Jan Dhan Yojana.
