New Delhi: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are provided financial assistance of 6,000 rupees per annum. In 2019, the Central Government launched the PM Kisan Yojana for farmers. This benefit is given to the farmers under Direct Benefit Transfer through three instalments of Rs.2,000 each. But did you know that farmers associated with PM Kisan Yojana can also get a pension of Rs.3,000 per month under pm kisan mandhan yojana?
In fact, the government has made a provision in which beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana can get their share directly transferred to the 36,000 PM Honorarium Scheme annually. For this, they only have to join the Honorarium Scheme. 36,000/- per annum without spending. It is to be noted that pension is given only to farmers above the age of 60 years. Beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana do not require any documentation to join the Honorarium Scheme as the Central Government already has the documents of the farmer under the PM Kisan Yojana.
A minimum contribution of Rs.55 and a maximum of Rs.200 per month is to be made under the Honorarium Scheme. 2400 and the minimum contribution was Rs.660. 3600/- will remain in the bank account even if the maximum contribution out of Rs. 6,000 is deducted from Rs. 2400. 3,000/- per month after the age of 60 years.
