New Delhi: On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Sixth India Mobile Congress at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi and unveiled 5G services. He also inspected the exhibition at Pragati Maidan, as part of the launching of 5G service.

The aim of 5G telecom services is to offer highly dependable communications, seamless coverage, and high data rates.

Before the Prime Minister, each of the nation's three major telecom providers presented a use case to illustrate the potential of 5G technology in India.

Precision drone-based farming, High-Security Routers & AI based Cyber Threat Detection platforms, Automated Guided Vehicles, Ambupod - Smart Ambulance, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality/Mix Reality in Education and Skill Development, Sewage Monitoring System, Smart-Agri Program, Health diagnostics, among others, are just a few of the many use cases that will be demonstrated in front of PM in the exhibition.

The general public will gain greatly from 5G technology. High data rates, low latency, and extremely dependable communications will all be made possible by it.

Also, it will improve network, spectrum, and energy efficiency. Millions of Internet of Things devices will be connected thanks to 5G technology, which will also enable the delivery of vital services like telesurgery and driverless vehicles among others as well as higher quality video services with mobility at fast speeds.

5G will help in minimizing the role of humans in dangerous industrial operations such as in deep mines, offshore activities, real-time monitoring of disasters, precision agriculture, and so on.

Will 5G services to be commenced on October 1?
