Delhi: PM Narendra Modi addressed at the conference on 'Islamic Heritage: Promoting Understanding & Moderation' at Vigyan Bhavan.

Both leaders talked about religion, terrorism and how to overcome radicalization.

"Our heritage and value, the message of our religion and its principles are the strengths on the basis of which we can overcome violence and terrorism," said PM Modi.

"Those who attack against humanity probably do not understand that they are ultimately harming  the  same religion which they claim to stand for," added  PM Modi

“Too much of what is heard in news & what is seen about religion, this is what separates people. Around the world, suspicions are inflamed by what different groups don't know about others. Such ideologies of hate distort the word of God to stir conflict, “said King Abdullah II of Jordan

Jordan King’s three day visit is a consequential to PM Narendra Modi’s visit which was turned up almost three weeks before as a part of his West Asia tour.

“I am on my second official visit to India and I am truly honored to be here”: says King Abdullah II after reciving ceremonial welcome at Rastrapati Bhavan.

The three day visit is going to witness extensive talks on bilateral issues including terrorism, extremism, palestine, etc. apart from expanding several key factors including health-care, IT, custom, etc.
