On the 100th anniversary of Champaran Satyagraha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Motihari on Tuesday to address "Swachchh Bharat Mission" volunteers. He will flag off a number of railway schemes.

The Prime Minister's visit is a part of the concluding celebration of Champaran Satyagraha centenary launched by the Bihar Government in April last year.

On this occasion, 'Satyagraha to Swachhagrah' program the Prime Minister will address more than 20,000  Swachhagrahis at the Gandhi Maidan in Motihari. This tour of PM will not only be significant for Champaran but also brings the gift of development for Bihar.

Through this event, PM will inspire the countrymen to take the oath of cleanliness, like the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi from Champaran. Historical places associated with Bapu and his life has been decked up.

After addressing volunteers, PM Modi will also launch several other projects in Bihar.

He will dedicate the Greenfield locomotive factory in Madhepura to the Nation. Prime Minister will inaugurate the 12,000 HP electric locomotives from the Madhepura Rail Engine Factory made in collaboration with France. Apart from this, the new Hamasafar express train between Katihar and New Delhi will be flagged off as per the report of DD news.

In addition the PM will also lay the foundation for the doubling of railway lines of Muzaffarpur-Sugauli-Valmikinagar division & various other development projects.

PM will also inaugurate the 22 crore restoration work of Motihari. This lake is called Motihari's Life Line and will be developed on the same lines as the Narmada River Front of Gujarat.

Prime Minister will lay foundation of four schemes of the City Development Department attached to the sewerage plant of Patna. These plans will advantage the capital region, Patna and surrounding areas. Overall.
