PM Modi to host Sikh delegation today evening

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a Sikh delegation at his residence today (Friday) evening.

People from various areas of life will be included in the gathering. Prime Minister Modi stated in a tweet: "I will be receiving a Sikh delegation at my home this evening. People from all areas of life are represented in the club. At about 5:30 p.m., I will also speak to the crowd. Keep an eye on it ".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a team of renowned Sikh intellectuals from around the country at his official residence here earlier this month. The Prime Minister engaged in a free-wheeling discussion with the group on diverse topics including farmer welfare, youth empowerment, a drug-free society, the National Educational Policy, skilling, employment, technology, and Punjab's overall growth trajectory.

The representatives praised the Prime Minister for his consistent and multifaceted efforts to improve the Sikh community.  

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi hosted prominent Sikhs from throughout the country in February.
