New Delhi, India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to use their right to vote as the sixth phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections begins on Thursday.

PM Modi took to Twitter to urge everyone to vote in the elections, saying that in a democracy, every vote counts. "Today Uttar Pradesh marks the start of the festival of democracy entering its sixth phase  sixth phase. All voters, it is my sincere appeal that they participate in this festival by casting their votes. Every single one of your votes is a demonstration of democracy's power! "He sent out a tweet.

Amit Shah, a Union Minister, also urged voters to vote enthusiastically in order to elect a dynasty-free and corruption-free government in the state. Shah added in Hindi in a tweet, "In Uttar Pradesh, the sixth phase of voting is underway today. I urge all people to remember that only a strong administration free of corruption and dynasties can lead Uttar Pradesh forward on the path to progress. As a result, vote carefully to maintain the state at the forefront of development."

The sixth phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections began today at 7 a.m. and will end at 6 p.m. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, voted in Gorakhpur's Primary School Gorakhnath Kanya Nagar Kshetra.

Polling is underway in 57 Assembly constituencies across ten districts, including Gorakhpur, Ambedkarnagar, Ballia, Balrampur, Basti, Deoria, and Kushinagar. A total of 2,14,62,816 voters, including 1,14,63,113 men, 99,98,383 women, and 1,320 third genders, are anticipated to exercise their right to vote in the election of 676 candidates.
