New Delhi: Today is the birthday of the youngest PM of the country, Rajiv Gandhi. On this occasion, his son and former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi remembered him saying that Rajiv Gandhi was a person far ahead of his time, but above all, he was a kind and loving person. Rahul Gandhi, MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala, said, 'I am incredibly lucky and proud that you are my father'.

Rahul Gandhi said, 'we miss you today and every day'. PM Narendra Modi has also paid tribute to former PM Rajiv Gandhi. PM Modi wrote in his tweet, 'a tribute to former PM Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary'. Veteran Congress leader and former Haryana CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda has also paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi by tweeting from his official Twitter handle.

Hooda wrote in his tweet, 'Bharat Ratna, the creator of modern India, former Prime Minister, Sw. Mr. Rajiv Gandhi has dreamed of making India a strong, independent, self-reliant, leading country in the world. A tribute to him on his birth anniversary. '
