New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is 70 years old today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. BJP is currently celebrating PM Modi's birthday as 'Seva Saptah' across the country. There has been a line of congratulations on the prime minister's birthday since Thursday morning. President Ram Nath Kovind and Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other top leaders were involved. In a tweet, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote, "Happy birthday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the most beloved leader of the country dedicated to national service and poor welfare. As Modiji, the country has got a leadership that linked the deprived section of public welfare policies to the mainstream of development and laid the foundation for a strong India."

 

Amit Shah wrote, "For decades, the poor in the country who have been deprived of their rights to give them a dignified life by giving them houses, electricity, bank accounts and toilets, or by delivering gas to poor mothers from the Ujjwala Yojana, it has been possible only with the unwavering resolve and strong will of Prime Minister Narendra Modi." In a tweet, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wrote, "Greetings and warm wishes to PM Shri @narendramodi on his birthday. India has benefited tremendously from his astute leadership, firm conviction &decisive action. He has been working assiduously towards empowering the poor & marginalised. Praying for his good health and long life." At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also tweeted, "Happy birthday to the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi realizing the concept of Antyodaya to National Day. In a tweet, President Ram Nath Kovind wrote, "Happy birthday greetings and felicitations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
