BJP and Congress have asked their members of both houses to attend the winter session that will hold today. In parliament sessions, the opposition parties are protesting against the demonetization move of the government.

Before the meeting, opposition leaders will have one gathering in the morning. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also have meeting with ministers in the morning. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has requested congress leaders and opposition party to start a Demonetisation debate.

Winter session which started on 16 November will end on Friday 16 December. One of the Congress party said "divert attention from hardships faced by people due to demonetisation",  .
