NEW DELHI: NEW DELHI:  During his conversation with participants of the ongoing 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,' PM Modi highlighted the remarkable transformation in the lives of millions who have benefited from his government's welfare schemes over the past decade. This positive change symbolizes a narrative of courage, contentment, and aspirations for these beneficiaries.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, highlighted the government's efforts to strengthen cooperatives in rural areas during an event on Wednesday. He emphasized the significant expansion of cooperatives in sectors like agriculture and fisheries, following their success in fields such as dairy and sugar production.

Engaging with beneficiaries of the ongoing 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,' Modi expressed pride in witnessing the positive transformations in the lives of millions who have benefited from government welfare schemes over the last decade. He emphasized the inspiring narratives of courage, contentment, and aspirations among these beneficiaries.

Modi underscored the immense satisfaction derived from observing the enhanced self-assurance of individuals during his interactions with them.

During the yatra, he highlighted key achievements, including the distribution of 'Ayushman' health insurance cards to one crore people and health check-ups for 1.25 crore individuals, with over 70 lakh screened for tuberculosis. He contrasted the current efficiency of accessing benefits with the challenges faced by prospective beneficiaries during past administrations, emphasizing the elimination of nepotism and corruption.

The Prime Minister also noted the significant empowerment of women through the formation of 10 crore self-help groups across the nation. He highlighted that these groups received financial assistance totaling Rs 7.5 lakh crore through banks. Modi expressed his vision of enabling two crore women to become 'lakhpati' (wealthy).

Furthermore, he outlined the government's initiatives to construct numerous storage facilities aimed at supporting farmers in the country.

Modi's address emphasized the government's commitment to bolstering cooperatives, improving healthcare accessibility, empowering women through financial inclusion, and aiding agricultural practices for the benefit of rural communities.
