Today is the birthday of Akali Dal leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. PM Narendra Modi wished him on his birthday. For this, he called Prakash Badal. Recently information from sources has revealed that PM Modi has called Prakash Badal for wishing. Prakash Singh Badal was born on 8 December 1927.

He has been the Chief Minister of Punjab for a long time. As such, the Shiromani Akali Dal has been a longtime ally of the BJP under his leadership. Recently, he came in the discussions when he supported the farmers. Earlier, three agriculture laws were passed from Parliament, the Akali Dal has withdrawn support from the government. Not only this, but Harsimrat Badal, wife of Sukhbir Badal, son of Parkash Singh Badal, also resigned from the Modi cabinet. Akali Dal has separated from NDA on the issues of farmers.

The farmers of Punjab have been standing on the Delhi border for 13 days and today the Bharat Bandh was also announced. Talking about Prakash Singh Badal, then he himself wrote a letter to PM Modi on the issue of farmers. In that letter, referring to words like Emergency, he had spoken about ending the confrontation with PM Modi and also wrote that dialogue, solution and consensus are the foundation of democracy.
