Bhopal: Indian Railways is continuously trying to improve the facilities by increasing the number of Vande Bharat trains in the country. In this sequence, on Saturday, April 1, the country got the 11th train and Madhya Pradesh got the first Vande Bharat train. PM Narendra Modi flagged off the state's first Vande Bharat train from Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal on April 1. PM Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat train after reaching Rani Kamlapati railway station. During this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav were also present.

During this, PM Modi also paid tribute to the people who lost their lives in the accident on Ram Navami in Indore. At the beginning of his speech, PM Modi said, 'First of all, I express my sorrow for the incident that happened on Ram Navami in the Indore temple. I pay tribute to those who left us untimely in this accident and express my condolences to their families. I wish those devotees who have been injured and are undergoing treatment in the hospital a speedy recovery. PM Modi further said, 'Today Madhya Pradesh has got its Vande Bharat Express train. This will make the journey between Bhopal and Delhi faster. This train will bring new facilities for professionals, youth, and businessmen. He said, 'The modern and grand Rani Kamlapit station where this event is being held, all of you had given me the good fortune to inaugurate it. Today, I have been given the opportunity to flag off India's most modern train, the Vande Bharat, from here to Delhi. It would have happened very rarely in the history of railways that a Prime Minister has returned to the same station in such a short interval.

 
Earlier, the CM of the state, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing the public, said, 'Today the sun of good fortune in Madhya Pradesh has risen again. Today Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has come to Madhya Pradesh to present the Vande Bharat Express. I congratulate him on behalf of 8.5 crore people in the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh and the country are changing with "Modi Vision". It is the effect of the Prime Minister's vision that, from today onward, all liquor vends have been closed in Madhya Pradesh.
