The Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) recorded a humongous victory at the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. After the results were out and the BJP getting a clear majority, several Bollywood celebs took to their Twitter account to congratulate Narendra Modi and his party for their win. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap too wished the PM on his victory, however, he also had a complaint to bring to Modi’s notice.
In his tweet, the director said: “Dear @narendramodi sir. Congratulations on your victory and thank you for the message of inclusiveness. Sir please also tells us how we deal with these followers of yours who celebrate your victory by threatening my daughter with messages like this for me being your dissenter.”
Incidentally, a troll on Twitter threatened his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap with unspeakable words, threatening to violate her modesty. Anurag even attached an image of the troll’s tweet, which blatantly threatens his daughter. We have blacked-out the regressive words from this deplorable tweet.
Twitterati too stood by the filmmaker and criticized the troll for his deplorable comments. While being brutally trolled on Twitter has become a part and parcel of life for Bollywood celebs, however, it is such threats that question the morality of being human, to begin with.
Even though we are at the opposite ends when it comes to our political stance, I stand with you & Aaliyah on this. There are idiots across party lines who talk rubbish & must be condemned, discouraged & not given the only thing they seek - a few minutes of cheap publicity.

Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah is just a teenager and to threaten a young girl like her with such shameful words only shows how gory and disturbed the troll must be.
