GODHRA: Iindia Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 1 said that Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge was tutored to compare him with Ravana.

Speaking at a public meeting in Kalol taluka of Panchmahal district in central Gujarat where polling will be held in the 2nd phase on December 5.

Two days ago while speaking at a public meeting in Ahmedabad, Congress party President Mallikarjun Kharge had mentioned, "Whether it is the civic polls or panchayat, Assembly or Lok Sabha elections, Narendra Modi appeals to voters to franchise for his party's candidate while recollecting his face... does he have 100 faces like Ravana?"

Responding to Kharge, Modi said, "Kharge was tutored to compare me with Ravana, when the Congress doesn't believe in Lord Rama... they don't approve the existence of Ram Setu. This is a state of Lord Rama believers, where such accusation will never be accepted by the people of the state."

Commenting on the industrialization in the Panchmahal district, PM Modi  said, "As the country's financial capital is Mumbai, Panchmahal's financial and economic capital is Halol and Kalol. From these industrial areas, Rs 9,000 crore industrial products are exported." "The people of Gujarat are aware of which party delivers the vows, and that is why they have preferred BJP for the last two decades," PM Modi mentioned.
