In the BRICS leaders' informal gathering the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Gopal Baglay on Twitter posted a picture and wrote 'At d BRICS leaders' informal gathering @ Hamburg hosted by China, PM @narendramodi and President Xi had a conversation on a range of issues'
"The atmosphere is not right for a bilateral meeting between President Xi and Prime Minister Modi," a Chinese Foreign Ministry official had said ahead of the G-20 Summit.
