PM Modi to visit Kedarnath on November 5, will unveil the statue of Shri Adi Shankaracharya

Dehradun: PM Narendra Modi will visit Kedarnath in Uttarakhand on November 5. PM to offer prayers at Kedarnath temple, inaugurate Shri Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi and unveil a statue of Shri Adi Shankaracharya. The samadhi has been rebuilt after the devastation in the floods of 2013. Prime Minister Modi will offer prayers at the Kedarnath temple on November 5 and then inaugurate Adi Shankaracharya's samadhi and dedicate his statue.

Let us tell you that Kedarnath Dham cupboards are scheduled to be closed for winter from 6th November. The tomb was damaged in the devastating floods in 2013. Then, it was constructed. PMO said the reconstruction work has been carried out under the supervision and direction of the PM. He has also been constantly monitoring it. The PM will also review and review the ongoing development works and construction work around Saraswati Asthapath. The PM will also address a public meeting on the occasion.

According to PMO, Saraswati will inaugurate several other infrastructure projects including Asthapath and Ghats, Mandakini Asthapath, Tirath Purohit Awas and Guru Chhatti Bridge on Mandakini River. These projects have been developed with an outtake of Rs.130 crores. The PM will also lay the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 180 crore. These include redevelopment of Sangam Ghat, first aid and tourist facility centre, administrative office and hospital, Mandakini Asthapath line management, places to avoid rain and Saraswati Urban Facility Building.
