New Delhi: PM Modi has launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission today (September 27, 2021). According to the scheme, the health ID of every citizen of the country will now be created. A day after the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, PM Modi dedicated the scheme to him and termed it as a revolutionary step in the field of health.  PM Modi said that in the last seven years, the campaign to strengthen the health facilities of the country is entering a new phase from today. Today, a mission is being launched which has the power to revolutionize India's health facilities.

PM Modi said that 130 crore Aadhaar numbers, 118 crore mobile subscribers, about 80 crore internet users, about 43 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts are so big connected infrastructure nowhere in the world. This digital platform is taking everything from rations to administration into a transparent manner. The Arogya Setu app helped a lot in preventing the spread of corona infection. India has been able to administer nearly 900 million vaccine doses today under the vaccine, free vaccine campaign, and Co-WIN portal has a big role to play. About 1.25 crore remote consultations have been completed so far through e-Sanjivani. This facility is connecting thousands of countrymen living in remote and remote countries with doctors from big hospitals in cities sitting at home every day.

Launching the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, PM Modi said that the Ayushman Bharat-Digital Mission will now connect the digital health solutions of hospitals across the country. Under this, the countrymen will now get a digital health ID. The health record of every citizen will be digitally safe. Now, work is going on in India on a health model that is holistic, inclusive. A model that emphasizes prevention of diseases – preventive healthcare, accessible treatment in case of illness, cheaper and accessible to all.
