New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a momentous address during the launch of 'Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth', expressed a resolute belief that India stands on the brink of a historic leap toward development akin to numerous nations that catapulted themselves into the league of developed countries.

Speaking at a gathering that included Vice Chancellors of universities, heads of institutes, and faculty members across Raj Bhawans nationwide, PM Modi emphasized the pivotal juncture India finds itself in.

"This marks a crucial phase in India's narrative, a juncture where our nation is poised to take an immense leap forward. We've witnessed several countries achieve remarkable development through such decisive leaps within defined timeframes. Hence, I affirm that this is India's opportune moment. We must seize every fleeting second of this era," stated PM Modi.

Drawing parallels to the pre-independence era, Modi underscored the role of educational institutions in galvanizing the youth towards a collective pursuit of independence.

"Once, every educational institution played a pivotal role in cultivating an environment that nurtured a generation devoted to the cause of independence. A spirit emerged across the nation where every action was dedicated to the attainment of independence, immediate and resolute," added the PM.

Echoing the past's fervor, PM Modi urged every individual and institution to align their efforts towards the singular goal of a developed India.

"Likewise, today, each person, each institution must move forward with an unwavering commitment towards a developed India. Your aspirations and resolutions should converge solely towards this vision," stressed the PM.

With an eye on this vision, PM Modi announced the launch of a dedicated section within the My Government portal, 'Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth', inviting the nation's youth to contribute ideas toward realizing this vision. This segment will allow suggestions across five distinct categories, with the top 10 proposals to be recognized and rewarded.

PM Modi commended the Governors for spearheading workshops aimed at fostering discussions on building a developed India, marking the day as a pivotal moment in the quest for a progressive nation.

Urging the youth to combat the adverse effects of modern lifestyles, PM Modi encouraged suggestions aimed at liberating them from the confines of excessive reliance on mobile devices.

These workshops serve as a critical step in engaging and harnessing the youth's potential to contribute ideas and suggestions to shape India into a developed nation by 2047.

The envisioned transformation encompasses multifaceted aspects including economic growth, social advancement, environmental sustainability, and efficient governance, among others.
