New Delhi: Kota MP and NDA candidate Om Birla has been unanimously elected as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha today. Putting a halt to all predictions and speculations, PM Modi has preferred an energetic young face to experience in the case of the new Lok Sabha speaker.

According to information, leaders of various parties including Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the proposal and were approved by several other leaders. Later, the entire House gave its support by voice vote and then acting Speaker Virendra Kumar declared Birla as the speaker. Om Birla has been elected for the second consecutive time from Kota Parliamentary constituency in Rajasthan.

At the same time, PM Modi himself went to lead him to the chair. Praising Om Birla, PM Modi said, it is a matter of pride for all of us that today we are approving a person who has spent the best time of life in student politics, without any break in some activity in the society. He said, the change in the quota of Rajasthan, known as Kashi of education, has contributed to Mr. Om Birlaji. Birlaji was one of the first to reach the society wherever he suffered.
