New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is addressing the 90th episode of the 'Mann Ki Baat' programme on Sunday. Due to this, he is referring to the suggestions received from the countrymen. Prime Minister Modi referred to the days of the 1975 disaster.

Prime Minister Modi said, "Today, I want to talk to you about a mass movement of the country, which has great significance in the life of every citizen of the country. It was years ago in 1975. It was the same time in June that the emergency was imposed, the emergency was imposed. In it, all rights were taken away from the citizens of the country. One of the rights was the 'Right to Life and Personal Liberty' given to all Indians under Article 21 of the Constitution.''

Today, when the country is celebrating 75 years of its independence, the Amrit Mahotsav, we should never forget that dangerous period of emergency. Generations to come should also not be forgotten. The Amrit Mahotsav not only chronicles the victory story of hundreds of years of liberation from slavery, but also the journey of the 75 years after independence. Only by learning from every important stage of history, we move forward.
