New Delhi [India], July 18 (NT): Ahead of the first day of Parliament Monsoon Session 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested all the political leaders to agree to the session function smoothly.

The Prime Minister stated that the Centre is all set to argue all the issues that all the parties will heave in Parliament.

"I hope the Monsoon Session is a productive one and the time is properly utilised to discuss important matters. May the productivity of the forthcoming session and the rich levels of debate also become a source of inspiration for the various state assemblies. Any member, any party can raise any issue, we are all ready for proper discussions," Prime Minister Narendra Modi was quoted by ANI as saying when he told media reporters here.

The monsoon session will conclude on August 10. It will have 18 sittings amid much-anticipated drama in both the houses - Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.

Worth mention here an all-party meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi was held to ensure smoothing functioning of the Monsoon session of Parliament last night.

The meeting received "positive" upshot, as per the BJP Union Minister Ananth Kumar.

Modi –led Central Government has listed a substantive legislative business for the Monsoon session in which 48 items placed including 46 Bills and two financial matters.

The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill or the anti-instant triple talaq bill and The Constitution (123rd Amendment) Bill have  must-priority  for table discussion .
