New Delhi: Today, in the morning Vice President Rahul Gandhi and PM Modi met each other in a meeting. According to sources, PM Modi told the Congress leader that "we should meet regularly". Along with leaders Anand Sharma, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mallikarjun Kharge, Gandhi disscussed the suffering of farmers and demonetsation issue with the PM.

"We asked the PM to provide relief to the farmers and waive off their loans. PM Modi agreed that the situation was grave for farmers. He didnt say anything on the loan waiver issue", The 46-year said.

He further added that “Farmers are committing suicide all over the country, govt removed import duty on wheat- this is a devastating blow”. In the Parliament session, PM Modi didn't speak up on Demonetisation.
