Today is a big day in Indian politics as the result of polls in five states is to be out today. Amidst this elections, PM Modi addressed the media ahead winter season.  

Addressing media PM Modi said, “This session is important, many issues of public importance will be taken up. I have faith that all the members of the Parliament will respect this sentiment and move ahead. Our efforts are that discussions are held on all issues.”

Talking about the election trends, Congress party is leading in three states- Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Rajasthan.

In Madhya Pradesh, Congress has reached the magic number of 116 in the 230-member assembly while the BJP is close second on 114 seats. In Rajasthan Congress is currently leading in 105 assembly constituencies, BJP 80, BSP 4, Others 10. In Chattisgarh, Congress is ahead on 56 seats while BJP is leading on seats. JCC and Others are leading on 6 and 1 seats respectively.

Talking about Telengana, The latest trends on 114 out of 119 seats in Telangana - TRS leading on 90 seats, Congress-led Prajakutami leading on 15, BJP on four and others on five. In Mizoram, MNF has delivered a solid performance with leads in 26 seats.
