Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttara Khand on December 4 to address a rally at Dehradun (doon) and to lay the foundation stones for development projects worth Rs 30,000 crore. Modi will be visiting Uttara Khand for the third time in three months.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 26,000 crore and will inaugurate projects worth Rs 4,000 crore. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, visited the rally location, Parade Ground, here on Monday to review the preparations.  He said that party members are very excited about the Prime Minister's planned visit, and that the meetings are being held at the district and ward levels to assess the rally's preparations. JP Nadda, the BJP's national president, had also examined the rally's preparations a few days before, he added.

Dhami was accompanied to the Parade Ground by Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Pradesh BJP President Madan Kaushik, IG Intelligence Sanjay Gunjyal, District Magistrate R Rajesh Kumar, and SSP Janmejay Khanduri.

PM Modi had previously visited Rishikesh on October 4 to open an oxygen plant at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Kedarnath on November 5 to unveil Adi Guru Shankaracharya's statue.
