Prime Minister Narendra  Modi is all set  to lay foundation stone of National Centre for Aging at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi. He will also dedicate 500-bed New Emergency Block in Safdarjung Hospital as ANI reported.

The 300-bed PowerGrid Vishram Sadan in AIIMS and motorable tunnel between AIIMS and Trauma Centre.

In other event PM Narendra Modi is to interact with a delegation of around 150 sugarcane farmers from across the country at his residence. The Union Government's interventions and initiatives taken for welfare of sugarcane sector likely to come up for discussion during the meeting as DD news reported.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today meet and interact with a delegation of about 150 sugarcane farmers at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg, DD news tweeted.

The delegation will consist of farmers from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

An official statement on Thursday stated that the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the National Centre for Ageing at AIIMS, which will provide the older population with multi-speciality healthcare.

"It will have 200 general ward beds," The statement added.

PM Modi will also inaugurate a 300-bed Powergrid Vishram Sadan in AIIMS and a "connection motorable tunnel" between AIIMS, Ansari Nagar and Trauma Centre.
