NEW DELHIH: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Karmayogi Saptah,’ also known as National Learning Week, on Saturday, October 19, at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. This initiative aims to enhance both individual and organizational capacity development among civil servants across India.
Launched in September 2020, Mission Karmayogi envisions a civil service that is not only prepared for the future but also rooted in Indian values while embracing a global perspective. The National Learning Week is expected to be the largest event of its kind, significantly boosting the commitment to learning and development within the civil service.
The National Learning Week is designed to promote a unified message of “One Government,” aligning all participants with national objectives and fostering a culture of lifelong learning. Throughout the week, each participant, referred to as a Karmayogi, will be required to engage in at least four hours of competency-linked learning. This can be accomplished through various individual role-based modules available on the iGOT platform, as well as webinars featuring public lectures and policy masterclasses led by distinguished speakers.
