AHMEDABAD: An official said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on June 10 and 18 to launch a multi-specialty hospital and address two large rallies in the Navsari and Vadodara districts.

On June 10, the prime minister would speak to a gathering of tribals in Khudvel village, Navsari district, he said.

According to the local administration, nearly 3 lakh tribals from Navsari, Tapi, Dang, and Valsad districts in south Gujarat are expected to attend the festival in Khudvel, Chikhli taluka. The event will also be attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

On the same day, Modi will open a multi-specialty hospital and AM Naik Healthcare Campus on National Highway 48 in Navsari, according to a release from Nirali Memorial Medical Trust.

The prime minister would address around 4 lakh people at a gathering on the outskirts of Vadodara city on June 18, following a roadshow from the airport to the venue near Sardar Estate.

The Prime Minister would arrive in Vadodara in the morning after performing prayers at the Mahakali temple atop Pavagadh Hills in the neighbouring Panchmahal district, said  Hitendra Patel, chairman of the Vadodara Municipal Corp's standing committee.
