Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to beneficiaries of Madhya Pradesh who are getting benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Meanwhile, questioning the livelihood of the people, the Prime Minister emphasized education. PM, meanwhile, referred to the Tokyo Olympics and said that "there are daughters from poor households who are also raising the country's prestige.'' Talking to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, he said, "This is a relief to every family who got free food grains from the government during this crisis. This was satisfaction in interacting with the people.''

Let me tell you that the programme organized through video conferencing began with the chief minister's address. In his address, the Chief Minister said, "The free foodgrains distribution drive under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will continue till November 2021. The campaign started only in April. I would like to thank PM, he has given Rs 32,204 crores to 26,27,899 families since 2016. The subsidy has been given for the construction of houses.''

The Prime Minister interacted with Maya Uike, a resident of Hoshangabad in the state, Chandrabhan in Rewari, Rajendra Sharma Ji, a resident of Burhanpur. Let me tell all of you that this scheme, which costs rs.2 lakh crore stake to provide free foodgrains during the Corona epidemic, was launched for the poor. Prime Minister Modi had also tweeted about the event to be held today. In a tweet, he had said, "The scheme will benefit more than 4.8 crore siblings in Madhya Pradesh.''

In fact, the Rs 1.70 lakh crore scheme announced in March 2020 is aimed at helping the poor who are fighting the Coronavirus so that they do not lack money and food. In a tweet, CM Shivraj himself said, "Prime Minister will interact with beneficiaries online on 7th August 2021 in a free ration distribution programme under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.''

He has also said, "Prime Minister Modi is committed to the welfare of the poor. In his blessings and virtual dignified presence, the Anna Utsav programme under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will be held in Madhya Pradesh. Through this Anna Utsav programme, 1 crore 15 lakh families of the state will get 5 kg of wheat and rice per capita per month. Madhya Pradesh is committed to making all possible efforts for the welfare and progress of the poor under the guidance of the Prime Minister.''
