NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to engage with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra tomorrow, November 30th, at 11 AM through a virtual interaction. The nationwide Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to achieve full coverage of the government's flagship schemes by ensuring timely delivery of their benefits to all intended recipients.

An ongoing commitment of the Prime Minister has been to promote development led by women. In line with this objective, he will inaugurate the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra, a significant step forward. This initiative will equip women Self Help Groups (SHGs) with drones, empowering them to utilize this technology for livelihood support. Over the next three years, 15,000 drones will be allocated to women SHGs, accompanied by comprehensive training on drone operation and utilization. This move is expected to promote technological advancement in agriculture.

A central focus of the Prime Minister's vision for a healthier India has been to make healthcare affordable and easily accessible. A pivotal step in this direction has been the establishment of Jan Aushadhi Kendras, facilitating the availability of medicines at reasonable prices. During the upcoming program, PM Modi will inaugurate the landmark 10,000th Jan Aushadhi Kendra at AIIMS, Deoghar. Additionally, he will launch a program aimed at expanding the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras from 10,000 to 25,000 across the country.

Both initiatives—providing drones to women SHGs and increasing the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras from 10,000 to 25,000—were pledged by the Prime Minister during his Independence Day address earlier this year. The forthcoming program represents the realization of these commitments, marking a significant milestone in their implementation.
