NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive  Gujarat's Gandhinagar and Andhra Pradesh's Bhimavaram on Tuesday, July 4.

The prime minister will introduce "Digital India Bhashini," "Digital India GENESIS," and "Indiastack.global" at Gandhinagar. The PM  will also dedicate "MyScheme" and "Meri Pehchaan" to the citizen.

The great independence fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju will have a yearlong birthday celebration in Bhimavaram beginning on July 4 in the morning with the Prime Minister. He would then launch "Digital India Week 2022" in Gandhinagar in the evening. As per the statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the government is committed to honouring the contributions of liberation fighters and raising public awareness of them as part of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav."

"The renowned independence fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju's 125th birth anniversary celebration will begin in Bhimavaram on January 1 as part of Prime Minister Modi's initiative. A bronze statue of Alluri Sitarama Raju that stands 30 feet tall will also be unveiled by the prime minister "PMO said.

Alluri Sitarama Raju, who was born on July 4, 1897, is famous for his battle with the British to defend the rights of the indigenous inhabitants in the Eastern Ghats. He had been the leader of the 1922 Rampa rebellion. The locals refer to him as "Manyam Veerudu" (the "Hero of the Jungles").
