Ahmedabad: PM Modi will visit Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad today and review the work related to the coronavirus vaccine being developed here. In this sequence, PM Modi first reached Ahmedabad in his home state of Gujarat. Where he visited Zydus Biotech Park to know about the indigenous DNA based vaccine being developed by Zydus Cadila.

After this, PM Narendra Modi has given information about this by tweeting from his official Twitter handle. PM Modi wrote in his tweet, 'Visited the Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad to know more about the indigenous DNA based vaccine being developed by Zydus Cadila. I compliment the team behind this effort for their work. Government of India is actively working with them to support them in this journey.'

Zydus Cadila's plant is located in Changodar Industrial Area near Ahmedabad city. The drugmaker had previously announced that the first-stage trial of a possible corona vaccine had been completed, and a second-phase trial began in August. PM Modi has reached the plant at around 9.30 am. It is being told that PM Modi can make a big announcement about the corona vaccine here.
