New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Britain's first Indian-origin Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the G-20 Summit being held in Bali, Indonesia. Due to this, the two leaders discussed many important issues. After meeting Prime Minister Modi, the UK government made a big announcement to issue 3000 visas every year for India. This visa is for those young people who can go to the UK and build their careers.

The UK government said that India is the first country to get the benefit of this scheme. In the statement, the UK government said that the UK-India Young Professional Scheme has been stamped. Under this scheme, 3,000 trained Indian youth in the age group of 18 to 30 years can go to the UK and work for two years every year. The UK government said the launch of the scheme is an important moment for bilateral relations between the two countries. At the same time, it shows Britain's commitment to strengthening the economy of both countries in the Indo-Pacific region.

The UK government said the UK has the strongest relationship with India among all countries in the Indo-Pacific region. Of all students who come to study in the UK from abroad, a quarter is from India alone. Also, due to Indian investment, about 95 thousand people get employment across the UK. It is to be noted that the trade deal between Britain and India is also being negotiated. If this deal is done, then India will have the first such deal with any European country. At the same time, regarding the mobility partnership with India, the UK government said that through this partnership, it will help in excluding those who violate immigration. The UK government said that this historic proposal was approved between the two countries in May 2021. The aim was to promote movement between the two countries. At the same time, there was a joint effort to prevent immigration-related crime by evacuating people living illegally.
