Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting which was scheduled on Tuesday with top Union Ministers and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda has been cancelled, amid news reports suggesting that a Cabinet expansion is on the cards.

The meeting was slated amid reports of a cabinet reshuffle. The cabinet rejig is expected to take place later this week, media reports said.

The report suggested that Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, along with other their Cabinet colleagues Dharmendra Pradhan, Pralhad Joshi, Piyush Goyal and Narendra Singh Tomar were expected to attend the meeting,

As per Sources info, Shah and Santhosh confabulated with Modi at his residence for several hours on Sunday amid a "strong possibility" that the Cabinet reshuffle may happen very soon. Some sources said the swearing-in may happen as early as Wednesday. However, there was no official word on it.
