New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday held an important meeting to review the situation caused by corona and progress of corona vaccination across the country. In the meeting, PM Modi discussed various issues related to the ongoing vaccination drive in the country and asked them to expedite the vaccination process further. It also issued strict orders for early installation of ventilators sent by the Centre to states where they have not been used so far.
According to information provided by the PMO, PM Modi gave strict instructions to some states regarding ventilators in the meeting as there are ventilators lying in storage which have not been used so far. PM Modi directed to install these ventilators immediately. The meeting elaborated on the ongoing immunization process in the country. In addition, there was a brainstorming on the availability of vaccine. He asked the officials to work closely with the state governments to expedite the vaccination process.
Earlier on Wednesday, PM Modi held a meeting to review the supply and availability of oxygen and medicines. PM Modi said that free vaccination is being done in government hospitals across the country so all must take the vaccine.
