In connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Kanyakumari, visitors have been banned from Vivekanandapara for three days from Thursday. On Wednesday, the tourists were allowed to the rock after inspection on the heavily secured coast. It has been informed that the Prime Minister will first visit the Bhagavathy Temple when he arrives in Kanyakumari. Prior to this, evening devotees will be prevented from entering the temple.
Tamil Nadu South Region I.G. On the instructions of Pravesh Kumar, the police intensified surveillance from Wednesday. About 4,000 policemen have been deployed for security arrangements. Surveillance has been intensified in coastal areas from Chennai to Kanyakumari. Inspection has also been tightened at the police outposts on the district border. Fishing has also been banned within a five kilometer radius of Vivekanandapara. Security personnel from Delhi are camping at Kanyakumari.
The Prime Minister will leave Thiruvananthapuram airport at 4 pm on Thursday by helicopter and reach Kanyakumari at 4.35 pm. After rest at Tamil Nadu Guest House at 5.20 p.m. from Poompuhar Boat Jetty to Vivekanandapara. On 31st, the Prime Minister will meditate in the Dhyana Mandapam during the day and night. Meditation will continue on Friday. He will return to shore by boat at 3 pm on June 1. Narendra Modi will leave by helicopter at 3.25 and reach Thiruvananthapuram airport at 4.05. From there he will return to Delhi
He will land from Vivekanandapara in the evening of June 1 and return to Delhi by air from Thiruvananthapuram.
PM Modi's boat was repaired on Wednesday. Special arrangements have been made at the Vivekananda memorial, including the installation of air-conditioning in the meditation hall.
