New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today addressed the occasion of International Day of Yoga on Monday. Addressing on the occasion of 7th Yoga Day, PM Modi said that today, when the whole world is combating the corona epidemic, yoga remains a ray of hope. He said that when the invisible corona virus hit the world, no nation was ready for it by means, by means, by strength and mental state.

Pm Modi said, "We have all seen that in such a difficult time, yoga became a great source of self-strength. Yoga assured people that we can fight this disease. Recalling the quote of the great Tamil saint Thiruvalluvar, PM Modi said that if there is a disease, go to its root, find out the cause of the disease, then start treating it. This is the way yoga shows."

"Whenever India has talked about health, it has not just meant physical health," he said. That is why yoga lays so much emphasis on physical health as well as mental health. When India proposed international yoga day at the United Nations (UN), the feeling behind it was that this yoga science should be accessible to the whole world. Today, India has taken another important step in this direction in collaboration with UN, WHO.”
