New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi addressed the ASEAN Summit in Bangkok on the second day of his three-day visit to Thailand. Describing ASEAN as very important for India, PM Modi said that we are committed to furthering our partnership through more robust surface, maritime, air connectivity and digital links.

PM Modi has said that we welcome the coordination between India and ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Outlook. Talking about the Act East Policy, he said that it is an important part of the Indo-Pacific Vision. ASEAN is the heart of our Act East Policy and always will be. PM Modi has said that integrated, organized and financially prosperous ASEAN is in India's basic interest.

PM Modi has said in his brief address that one million dollar Indian Line of Credit will be beneficial for physical and digital connectivity. He said that our aim is to further the movement of people for study, research, trade and tourism. To achieve this goal, India is ready to increase partnership with ASEAN in the area of mutual interests. PM Modi said that the implementation of the decisions taken at Informer Summit in Singapore last year has brought more intimacy in our relationship.
