PM Modi addresses Matua community, speaks out, "Our relationship is mind to mind"

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Bangladesh. On the last day of his visit, PM Modi reached the temple of Matua community of Orakandi on Saturday, where he offered prayers. Orakandi is the place where Harishchandra Thakur, the founder of the Matua community was born. PM Modi further said that I had been waiting for this opportunity for many years. During the 2015 trip to Bangladesh, Modi said, "I had expressed my desire to come to Orakandi and that wish was fulfilled today".

PM Modi said that "I remember when I went to Thakurnagar in West Bengal, my Matua brothers and sisters gave me love as a family member there, heir blessings like a mother's, have been precious moments in my life". PM Modi said that I have brought love and good wishes to you on behalf of your 130 crore brothers and sisters of India at the national festival of Bangladesh. Many congratulations and warm greetings to all of you on the completion of 50 years of Bangladesh's independence.

He said that our relationship between the two countries is of the people, of the mind of the people. After offering prayers at the temple, PM Modi also addressed the people of Matua community. Citing a conversation with a person, PM Modi said that anyone thought that an Indian PM would come here and worship in the temple of Matua community?.
