New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today led the 6th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog through video conferencing. In the meeting, PM Modi discussed with the Chief Ministers of all the states. During this time, PM Modi mentioned the changes in the country during the crisis period of the corona epidemic. Also, he said that the country can no longer wait for development, only by working together will success be achieved.
PM Modi further said that ''We have seen during the corona period that when the state and the central government worked together, the country succeeded. A good image of India has also developed in the world. Changes were seen in the standard of living of the poor. We are also seeing how the private sector of the country is coming forward with more enthusiasm in this development journey of the country. As a government, we also have to respect this enthusiasm, the energy of the private sector, and give it as much opportunity in the self-reliant India campaign."
PM Modi said that 'Self-reliant India campaign is the way to build an India that produces not only for its needs but also for the world, and these products also meet the test of world superiority. The Central Government has introduced the PLI scheme for various sectors. This is a great opportunity to increase manufacturing in the country. States should also take full advantage of this scheme and attract maximum investment in themselves.'
