India's goal of self-reliance is paramount: PM Modi says in ICC meeting

New Delhi: Amidst the global epidemic corona virus, PM Narendra Modi today addressed a special program of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC). During this time, PM Modi said that the ICC has seen the fight for independence since its formation in 1925, witnessed the severe famine and food crises. Now this AGM is happening at a time when our country is challenging multiple challenges.

PM Modi said that self-reliant India, this sense of self-reliance has been lived by every Indian like an aspiration for years. But still a big wish, a big wish, has been in the mind of every Indian, it has been in the mind. In the past 5–6 years, India's goal of self-reliance has been paramount in the country's policy and practice. Now the Corona crisis has given us a lesson on how to speed it up. It is from this lesson that the self-reliant India campaign.

PM Modi further said that we have to work more rapidly in the direction of everything that the countries are forced to import, how they should be made in India, how their future should become India exports. We do not only buy things from these small business people, we do not give any money, they reward their hard work, we earn respect. We do not even know how much this affects their heart, how proud they feel.
