New Delhi: Today, National President of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Jagat Prakash Nadda is celebrating his 60th birthday. On this occasion, big leaders of the party including PM Narendra Modi have given him best wishes. In his tweet, PM Modi wrote, 'Many congratulations to BJP National President JP Naddaji. Under his efficient and inspiring leadership, the party is constantly touching new heights. My wish is to be healthy and longevity forever.'

Union Home Minister and former BJP President Amit Shah also congratulated JP Nadda on his birthday. He wrote in his tweet, 'Happy Birthday to the honourable National President of Bharatiya Janata Party JP Nadda. Under your leadership, the party is continuously moving forward, I pray to God for your healthy life and longevity.' JP Nadda has been entrusted with the party's reins after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

When Amit Shah assumed the post of Home Minister in Modi Sarkar 2.0, JP Nadda was appointed as the National President of the party. Nadda was born on 2 December 1960 in Patna. After taking over as President this year, the party under the leadership of JP Nadda contested Delhi elections and has now won the Bihar elections. PM Modi gave credit to JP Nadda for the victory of NDA in Bihar elections.
