New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted everyone on Hindi Day. At the same time, it has been told that this language attracts him. In fact, he tweeted today i.e. on Wednesday morning and wrote, "Hindi has given India a special honour all over the world. Its simplicity, spontaneity and sensitivity always attract. On Hindi Day, I heartily congratulate all those who have contributed tirelessly in enriching and empowering it."

Along with this, the current Home Minister Amit Shah, considered closest to PM Modi in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), also released a special video message. Let us tell you that there are many big leaders of the world, who have used Hindi during their speeches. Such leaders include former US Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, former British Prime Minister David Cameron, former Australian PM Scott Morrison, former Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Maldives Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid.

In fact, Hindi is counted among the languages that are the most spoken and understood in the world. You know that the Father of the Nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (later called Mahatma) had said that Hindi is the language of the people. He had also recommended making it the national language of the country. Talking about Hindi Day, it was celebrated from September 14, 1949, when Hindi was given the status of official language.
