New Delhi: Former India boxer Dingko Singh has passed away. They had been battling the disease for quite some time. Digco Singh won a gold medal for India at the Asian Games. Dingko Singh, 42, breathed his last today, Thursday. From PM Narendra Modi to Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju, big politicians have not expressed grief over his death. Dingko Singh was considered to be a big boxer not only from India but also from all over Asia in his day. Boxer Dingko Singh is said to have been battling liver cancer for quite some time. At the same time, they were infected with the corona virus in the past. His condition did not improve after that.

 

 

PM Modi condoled the passing away of Dingko Singh and tweeted that Dingko Singh was a sports superstar. He was a great boxer who won many awards, awards. PM Modi has written that Dingko Singh made the boxer extremely popular. 'I am saddened by his demise. PM Modi further wrote in his tweet that he extends my condolences to the family fans in the passing away of Dingko Singh'.

Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted on his demise and wrote that he was deeply saddened by the passing away of Dingko Singh. Singh was one of the finest boxers in India. Rijiju further wrote in his tweet that 'Dingco won a gold medal for the country at the 1998 Bangkok Asian Games. I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family. Dingko God give peace to your soul'.
