New Delhi: Former Union Minister Buta Singh has died. He breathed his last in Delhi today. Buta Singh was a great Dalit leader. He was also a minister at the center. Apart from this, Buta Singh was also the governor of Bihar. PM Narendra Modi has expressed deep condolences on his death. 86-year-old Buta Singh will be cremated today.
Buta Singh was ill for a long time. Buta Singh, an eight-time MP, had a long political life. Born in Jalandhar district in the year 1934, Buta Singh was a big face of national politics. He was born in Jalandhar in 1934. PM Modi condoled the death of Buta Singh, saying that he was an experienced leader and a skilled administrator. PM Modi said that he raised his voice for the poor and the marginalized in society. PM Modi said that he is saddened by his death and his condolences are with Buta Singh's family.
Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has also expressed his condolences on the death of Buta Singh. Rahul Gandhi has tweeted that the country has lost a true public servant and loyal leader with the death of Sardar Buta Singh. He dedicated his entire life to the service of the country and the welfare of the people, for which he will always be remembered. My condolences to his family members during this difficult time.
