Ahmedabad: Polling for the first phase of assembly elections in Gujarat was completed on December 1. Voting for the second phase will be held on December 5, 2022. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi addressed a rally held at Kankrej in Banaskantha. In this last phase of campaigning, PM Modi made a big claim and said that once again the BJP is going to make a record-breaking comeback in Gujarat.
Targeting the Congress, PM Modi has said that hanging and misleading is the habit of the Congress. PM Modi said, 'Congress's nature is that they do not do any such work in which their own welfare is not perceptible and Modi's name is that what he says, he does. If you bless us, we will work with more vigor.'
Let us tell you that the voting for the first phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections was completed on Thursday (December 1) at 5 pm. The fate of 788 candidates who are contesting for 89 seats in 19 districts has been sealed in EVMs. In the first phase, 62.89 percent voting was recorded. This figure was 5.49% less than the 2017 election. Not only this, this time there has been the lowest voting in 10 years.
