PM Modi expresses grief over death of BJP leader Wasim Bari in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: BJP leader Wasim Bari was killed by terrorists in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. Wasim's brother and father were also injured in the terror attack, later both of them also died. PM Modi has expressed grief over the killing of Wasim Bari. Giving information about the case, BJP leader Jitendra Singh said that PM Modi has taken information regarding the murder of Wasim Bari over the phone. He also expressed his condolences to Wasim's family.

National Conference leader and former CM Omar Abdullah has also strongly criticized the terrorist attack on Wasim Bari and expressed sorrow. Omar Abdullah wrote in a tweet, 'It is very sad to hear about the deadly terror attack on BJP officials and his father in Bandipora this evening. I strongly condemn this attack. My condolences are with his family in this difficult time.

BJP National President JP Nadda tweeted on Wasim's death and wrote that 'We lost Sheikh Wasim Bari, his father and brother in Bandipora. This is a big loss for the party. My condolences to his family. The entire party stands firmly with his family. I ensure that his sacrifice will not go in vain.'
